Flapjack's Pancake Cabin

We've hit Flapjack's both locations in Gatlinburg, and honestly, the East Parkway spot at 478 is our go-to over the downtown one. Less chaos, easier parking, and the same scratch-made pancakes that come with those little recipe cards so you can attempt (and fail) to recreate them at home.

The Sticky Bun Pancakes are what everyone talks about, but don't sleep on their Honey Dipped Chicken and Waffles. Fair warning though — they close at 1 PM sharp, which catches people off guard who expect all-day breakfast like some places. We learned that the hard way on a lazy Sunday.

That cabin vibe with the stone fireplace isn't just for show. It actually feels cozy instead of theme-park fake, which is rare on the Parkway. The portions are massive though — like, genuinely consider sharing unless you're planning to hibernate afterward.

Weekend mornings are brutal. If you show up at 10 AM on Saturday, you're looking at a serious wait. Hit them right when they open at 7 AM on weekends or 8 AM weekdays, and you'll actually get a table without the stress. They've got gluten-free options too, which saved our trip when we had family visiting with dietary restrictions.
