TSM Quick Take
Worth it for you?
Speedwerkz Exotic Car Experience is best for car enthusiasts, families with kids 6 and up, and anyone interested in rare exotics and hypercars showcased with immersive lighting and sound. The main draws are the rotating gallery of supercars, hands-on racing simulators, and the chance to sit in a real exotic for a photo (for an extra fee). Teens and adults who appreciate automotive design or want a realistic racing sim will find it worthwhile, especially as a weather-proof indoor activity in Gatlinburg. The main objection is the price-to-duration ratio: admission is around $22 per adult before tax, and while the experience is unique, the visit is typically under 90 minutes unless you add extras. It's less ideal for families with toddlers or those seeking a full-day attraction, and parking requires using public downtown lots.

speedwerkz.comAbout Speedwerkz Exotic Car Experience
We stumbled into Speedwerkz last summer when it was pouring rain, and honestly? It turned out to be a fantastic experience. They've got about 15 supercars sitting on these lit-up turntables that slowly rotate — no barriers, no glass, just you and a $3 million Bugatti Chiron SS. The kids were losing their minds over the McLaren Senna, and I'll admit I spent way too long staring at the Ford GT.
What blew us away was how close you can actually get. Most car shows have ropes everywhere, but here you’re literally inches from these machines. The staff knows their stuff too — one guy spent 20 minutes explaining why the Lamborghini Huracan STO has those wild aerodynamic bits.
Oh and the racing simulators. They use the same equipment real drivers train on, which explains why I crashed into every wall on the first turn. Shandi crushed me, naturally. The kids could’ve spent hours on those things if we’d let them.
At $21.99 for adults, it’s not cheap, but you’re talking about cars most people will never see in person. Takes about 45 minutes to see everything, great for when downtown gets too crazy or the weather turns ugly. Just don’t go in expecting a huge space — it’s more intimate than you’d think, which is actually better for photos.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a visit take?
Plan about 45 to 90 minutes for most visits. That gives you time to walk the car displays, use the photo spots, and try the racing simulators without rushing.
What are the hours?
Speedwerkz is open daily, typically from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Where is it located and is parking available?
It’s at 467 Parkway in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on the main Parkway. Because it sits on a busy tourist strip, parking is usually easiest in nearby public lots or paid garages rather than expecting a dedicated on-site lot.
What can I expect inside?
Expect a rotating display of up to 15 exotic cars at a time, with brands such as Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Martin. The attraction also includes racing simulators and photo/video experiences.
Who is Speedwerkz best for?
It’s a good fit for car fans, families with older kids, and groups looking for an indoor Gatlinburg activity. It works especially well if you want a shorter stop rather than a half-day museum visit.
Do the cars stay the same all the time?
No. The lineup rotates regularly, so the exact cars on display can change from visit to visit.
