Ripley's Haunted Adventure

Ripley's Haunted Adventure is a multi-story walk-through haunted attraction on the Gatlinburg Parkway, just steps from the Aquarium and the rest of the Ripley's family of attractions. Unlike pop-up Halloween haunts, it runs year-round and is staffed by live actors throughout the maze. The route winds through a moonshine still, a coal mine, and the upper floors of an abandoned old hotel.

It's genuinely scary and best suited for older kids and adults — younger children may want to skip it. Plan about 20-25 minutes to walk through. It pairs naturally with Ripley's Believe It or Not Odditorium next door for a half-day of downtown attractions, especially on a rainy day.

Tickets are typically cheaper online than at the door. Lines build fastest on weekend evenings and around Halloween.
