About Flapjack's Pancake Cabin
Flapjack's sits right on the Parkway near The Island, and honestly, their Sticky Bun Pancakes are the only reason we keep going back. They'll give you the recipe card to take home, which is pretty cool. The cabin feels legit with all the stone and log work, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's some hidden local spot — this is full tourist territory.
We've had hit-or-miss experiences with the food quality. Sometimes the pancakes come out perfect and fluffy, other times they're tough and disappointing. The biscuits and gravy are pretty bland, and our bacon was unevenly cooked last time. But when they get it right, especially those Sticky Bun pancakes, it's worth it.
Get there right at 8am when they open or you're looking at a wait, especially on weekends. They close at 1pm every day, so this is breakfast only. The parking lot fills up fast since you're basically in the heart of Pigeon Forge chaos.
One thing though — the portions are huge. We usually share a plate between two people and still leave full. They do have gluten-free options if that matters to you, and the servers keep your coffee topped off, which I appreciate when we're trying to wake up on vacation.
The prices run higher than what you'd pay at home, but that's Pigeon Forge for you. Expect around $25 per person if you're getting pancakes and coffee. The Reese's Peanut Butter pancakes sound amazing but they're pretty sweet — stick with the Sticky Bun if you want their best dish.
