Bennett's Pit Bar-B-Que
Plates come out big enough that diners routinely split one meal two ways at Bennett's Pit Bar-B-Que, a Parkway barbecue house in Pigeon Forge. Hickory-smoked meats reach the table with sauce alongside rather than poured on, joined by deep-fried deviled eggs, cheese squares and a salad bar that includes soup. It suits families, larger groups and anyone with a real appetite after a day in the Smokies.
Corky's Ribs & BBQ
Fall-off-the-bone ribs with a real smoky edge are the reason most people pull in, though the cornmeal-crusted catfish and fried okra have their own fans. It's a casual, family-friendly stop on the Parkway that suits BBQ lovers and tourists alike, and the drive-thru helps when the dining room fills up.
