These are the current frames from the National Park Service cameras inside the park. They refresh about every 15 minutes, so this is what the mountains look like today — not a video stream. Clouds and fog are normal, and the park takes cameras offline in bad weather.

Nantahala Outdoor Center has a webcam page for its location in the Nantahala Gorge. This is outside downtown Bryson City; it is not a Cherokee town view.

Planning a drive from Cherokee or Bryson City

These links do not establish that a downtown Cherokee webcam is available. We have removed Cherokee from this guide’s title to make the coverage clearer.

A clear image at Purchase Knob does not establish that the Blue Ridge Parkway, Newfound Gap Road or another mountain route is clear or open. Check the relevant road’s official conditions before setting out.
