About Bullfish Grill
We've eaten here probably six times over the years, and it's the one place in Pigeon Forge where we don't cringe at spending $120 for dinner. The steaks are legit — hand-cut Angus that actually tastes like it costs $35, not some chain restaurant hockey puck. They do this thing with chargrilled oysters that sounds weird but works, especially if you're trying to impress someone who thinks Pigeon Forge is all pancake houses and dinner shows.
The dining room has this lodge vibe with stone floors and a big fireplace, but it's not trying too hard to be fancy. Our kids can eat here without us stressing about them being too loud, and they'll make chicken tenders that aren't frozen garbage. Plus the outdoor seating works if you've got your dog with you, which is rare around here.
Here's the thing though — they close at 9pm most nights, 10pm on weekends. We learned this the hard way after a long day at Dollywood when we rolled up at 8:45 expecting to get seated. The hostess was nice about it, but they were clearly winding down.
The fresh seafood thing is real. We usually split the crab cakes as an appetizer, and you can tell they're not just throwing frozen patties on the grill. Fair warning: this isn't a $15-per-person kind of place. Budget $50+ per person if you're getting drinks and not just ordering salads. But honestly, after eating at three mediocre places on the Parkway, sometimes you just want something that tastes like actual food.
