About Azul Cantina
We've been blown away by Azul Cantina's rooftop bar - honestly, it's the only spot in Pigeon Forge where we can sip margaritas while staring at the Smoky Mountains. The wood-fired Argentinian grill sets this place apart from every other Mexican joint on the strip.
Our server Nachaly made our last visit unforgettable with her attention to detail. The birria tacos and pork tacos consistently deliver, and we love that they make everything from scratch, including the tortillas.
The Dolly mural inside is Instagram gold, and the modern Mexico vibe feels fresh compared to typical tourist spots. Their homemade cerveza pairs perfectly with the mountain views.
Fair warning: the kitchen can be inconsistent - we've had cold entrees and undercooked rice on busy nights. The rooftop gets packed at sunset, so grab a table early if that's your goal.

Rooftop Bar with Mountain Views
Pigeon Forge's only rooftop bar gives you unobstructed Smoky Mountain views while sipping craft cocktails. We love coming here at sunset when the mountains glow orange. It's honestly worth the trip just for the scenery.
Wood-Fired Argentinian Grill
Their custom Gaucho-style grill sets them apart from every other Mexican restaurant in town. The wood-fired flavor comes through in every bite, especially the pork and chicken tacos. You can actually taste the difference.
Scratch-Made Everything
From tortillas to their homemade lager-style cerveza, everything is made in-house. The fresh guacamole is prepared to order, and you can watch them make tortillas throughout the day. It's the real deal.
Premium Tequila Selection
Their hand-crafted cocktails feature top-shelf tequilas and agave spirits that most Pigeon Forge spots don't carry. The bartenders know their stuff and can recommend something special based on your taste.
Dolly Parton Mural
The vibrant Dolly mural inside is pure Instagram magic and captures the fun, modern Mexico vibe perfectly. It's become a must-see photo spot that locals and tourists both love.
Four-Season Rooftop Design
Unlike most outdoor spaces that close in winter, their rooftop works year-round with weather protection. We've enjoyed drinks up there in every season, and each offers different mountain views.

How much does Azul Cantina cost?
Appetizers run $5-13 (chips & salsa flight $4.99, nachos $9.99), while entrees fall in the $15-25 range. Craft cocktails and their homemade cerveza add to the tab, but it's reasonable for the quality and views.

Reservations aren't required for regular dining, but we highly recommend calling ahead for rooftop seating, especially on weekends. Large groups and events definitely need advance booking.
How long should I spend at Azul Cantina?
Plan on 1.5-2 hours for dinner and drinks. If you're there for sunset views on the rooftop, add another 30 minutes to really soak it in.
Is Azul Cantina good for kids?
Yes, they have highchairs and a kids-friendly atmosphere downstairs. The rooftop might be better for older kids who can appreciate the views, and fair warning - the prices add up with a family.

Free off-street parking is available at the Tower Shops complex. We've never had trouble finding a spot, even on busy weekends.
Does Azul Cantina have vegetarian options?
Their scratch-made approach means they can accommodate dietary needs, and the fresh guacamole ($10.99) is fantastic. Ask your server about vegetarian modifications to their wood-fired dishes.
Can I bring my dog to Azul Cantina?
Dogs are welcome on the outdoor rooftop area. Just keep in mind it gets busy during peak times, so consider your pup's comfort level with crowds and mountain views.
